Planning: Welcome

THE PLANNING PROCESS

This process was aided with the help of my Gantt Chart which gave me precise directions on what to do and how I can achieve it. This was also supported by the success criteria below to help measure how well have I done and what I can improve on. These two devices were made carefully as most of the tasks on the Gantt Chart should not collide with my other assessments. This means that I have an equal time period to do both my studies and focus on my Personal Project. This proved to be rather effective as I was able to develop my product section by section every weekend.
My original plan was to work on the product only during holidays or mid-term breaks, however, after listening to my mentor, I decided to complete my product in a longer span of time. This allowed me to think or more ideas such as putting in a GPS tracker and programming a home landing system which has made my product even more efficient. I was also able to stick to the deadlines and provide regular checks with my mentor to display my progress.

CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS

I was then able to transfer these specifications into my Success Criteria, with each strand having a higher level of difficulty. I had also used “Bloom’s Taxonomy” to illustrate the level of progression within each strand. This allowed me to effectively distinguish the different strands from each other. Another factor illustrated in my report is that as the level descriptor increases, the more detailed the criteria becomes, allowing me to have the best version of my product. Here below is an example of the step progression displayed in my Success Criteria.
